This is our Vacation Casita in Leucadia, CA. We would be interested in a like property in the Waikiki area as a vacation home.
 
We are also interested in looking at Condo's, Small homes i.e. Casitas, Cottages, Townhomes or a Multi Uint invstmentment that could garner a cash flow offset and yield a place for us to stay during our periodic visits to Hawaii.
 
We might also be interested in periodic trades of like properties while seeking a more permanant solution.

I designed and built

this charming

little beach Casita 2006. It's set in a quiet and charming little beach community less than 1/8 mile walk from Beacons Beach.

 

It's located less than 300 footsteps from "Beacons Beach", one of the most popular surf breaks on the California Coast.

 

It is a two story 2+2 bath cottage with a study which can sleep 1 and a living room with a pull out queen sized couch. We have a large driveway with plenty of outdoor eating and entertainment area and ample room to park a car.

 

Upstairs is a built in California King with a Sleep Comfort Memory Foam custom mattress, a full master bath, an entertainment room with a 42" flat screen TV and entertainment center with cable and high speed wi-fi Internet service. There is also a large fold out dining room table with seating for 8, a small suite side sun deck and front partially enclosed balcony with a mini outdoor kitchen with a microwave, small refer, electric water pot and small outdoor dining area. (See photos) .

 

The kitchen is equipped with 4 burner gas range, oven and overhead microwave. Comes with dishwasher and large side by side refer with built-in filtered water and Ice maker. There is an outdoor storage area under the staircase with a mountain bike and beach cruiser, boogie boards and snorkeling equipment. Surfboards and wave skis are in back of cottage on surf racks.

Our intimate little community is in a very charming setting situated between old PCH 101 and Neptune which parallels the beach.

 

Our Casita is situated at the end of a very intimate & private lane. There are 5 Mfg. Homes and 4 new cottages in this little niche.

 

We are a 1/2 block from several restaurants, art galleries & boutiques. There's a bus stop less than 60 seconds away which will take you to Encinitas where you can connect with the Coaster rail system for points North or South or visit the many charming and delightful restaurants, cafe's wine tasting, art galleries, yoga studios, wellness & health spas.

 

The Del Mar Race Track is a 10min train ride or downtown San Diego where you can walk around the Gaslamp District, Little Itally, The San Diego Bay, Petco Park and all the other fun and exciting things San Diego has to offer is a 1/2hr.

 

Going North you could take a day trip by car Amtrak or Metro to Anaheim and visit Disneyland (there's a whistle stop in Anaheim with a free 5 to 10 minute shuttle to Disneyland) or stop at Carlsbad and visit all the charming little shops, cafes, boutiques and beaches they have to offer.

 

We're less than an hour from the San Diego Airport to the South just a little over an hour from John Wayne Airport in Orange County. Or if you wish to arrive by a small commercial airline or private aircraft you're less than 15 minutes from Palomar Airport. All in all our little neighborhood offers an exciting and full filling travel experience.

My wife Janis and I have raised 5 fantastic children who have given us 14 beautiful grandchildren I retired from our construction company in 2007 and now dabble in Real Estate, development and investing.

 

I'm an avid surfer and when Janis and I aren't walking the sandy beaches of the San Diego Coastline, Cabo or Hawaii or riding our bicycles on the beach we love globetrotting and walking the city streets, country sides and beaches of the world.

 

We own several timeshares and have used them to travel throughout the world. However, we are now interested in investing in income property in Waikiki and are looking for sound investment and/or trading opportunities.
