The Southern Maryland Sun and Music Festival 2014 is two days of unending family-friendly fun. The musical line-up includes The Morrison Brothers, Tom Principato, Deer Park Avenue, The Kelly Bell Band, Wesley Spanger, Ashley Forrest, Sara Grey and much, much more. In addition to the amazing music from some of the most talented artists in the Calvert County area and beyond, guests will enjoy lip-smacking good BBQ, the chance to sample locally crafted beer and wine (must be 21+ with a valid photo ID to purchase and consume alcohol) and try your hand at creating your very own arts and crafts. Local Southern Maryland artists will also be on-site selling their wares. Don't worry about the kids because they'll stay busy having fun in the Kids' Zone.
Outside food and drinks are strictly prohibited at the Southern Maryland Sun and Music Festival 2014. Also, please leave your pets at home since the crowds can scare even the most mellow of animals. Only service animals will be allowed on the fairgrounds. Additionally, no drugs, glass, coolers, professional audio/video equipment or cameras with telephoto lenses will be allowed on the premises. You are allowed to bring a lawn or beach chair for comfort as well as a blanket to sit on. It may be sunny, so don't forget your sunblock and sunglasses for protection.
