I'm kind of a control freak. So is Amanda.
For this reason, we've held off on hiring an assistant. To have somebody else in control of some of our stuff scared the heck out of both of us.
Well, last year we found ourselves running around like chickens with our heads cut off for about 9-10 months of the year.
That's no way to live.
We promised ourselves that this spring we'd hire an assistant and we finally did!
This year has been record breaking for us and for our office. We're on pace to close almost twice as much as we did last year.
Without an assistant there's no way we could handle that and provide the great customer service that we are known for.
Plus I'm sure we'd forget things, trip over ourselves, and probably go crazy! 
Letting go of "control" was a little tough at first, but it has become easier.
Our assistant handles all of our paperwork once it's signed, orders title work, surveys, and inspections, coordinates our closings for us, does some of our marketing, and is in communication with our lenders the title companies through the entire process.
Just having those things off of our plate is a huge relief.
This gives us more time to sell more, work more, play more, and to expand on some of our marketing (watch for videos soon!).
