What's the Neighborhood Like?

The Crossings was built in the 1970's. The subdivision is made up of town homes and single family homes ranging from mid $200's-mid $400's. Townhouses average about 1800 square feet, have 2-3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The townhouse residents also get to enjoy access to a community pool. Single family homes range from 1700-2500 square feet with 3 - 4 bedrooms and 2-3 baths. Many of the houses have finished basements and with nice sized backyards.

What's Going on Nearby the Crossings Subdivision?

The crossings is just minutes away from historical downtown Long Grove. Downtown Long Grove is the host of several summer festivals including the Strawberry festival and the Chocolate Festival.

The residents of the crossings get to enjoy direct access to trails that lead around the Crossing Pond Park.

Their are variety of gourmet grocery stores in the area including Sunset foods, Marianos and Wholefoods. From late spring to early fall, Buffalo Grove hosts a wonderful farmers market complete with organic produce and local artisans. The Crossings is also close to many dining options including local diners such as the Buffalo and high end eateries including Wildfire and Big Bowl. You will also find some Chicagoland institutions such as Lou Malnati's and Walker Brothers (order the Dutch Baby, you won't regret it!).

For the golfers in the family, there is a driving range and two golf courses. For those that are fitness minded, there is the Buffalo Grove Fitness Center, an award wining fitness facility complete with group fitness, Pilates and yoga studios, basketball court and a swimming pool.
