The Alameda Museums 2014 Lecture Series is a 14 year tradition which has been a way for the Museum to educate Alamedans about their city’s history.

The Alameda Museum was founded as the Historical Society 65 years ago and whose mission is to collect, conserve and exhibit the City of Alameda’s history.   And also to educate Alamedans and visitors with fabulous lectures, gorgeous art exhibits and to provide special group tours during non-business hours.

Old Alameda will be the May 29, 2014 lecture topic by the popular publishers of the Alameda Sun, Dennis Evanosky and Eric Kos,.  They will present a slide lecture to entice people to join the June 14th Alameda Museum Trolley tour of the three small towns which were later consolidated in the City of Alameda.
