WALKING FOR A CAUSE
MS WALK - DENVER 2014
I participated in the Denver MS Walk 2014 on May 3rd. It was a beautiful day for a 3 mile walk 
around City Park. I was invited to the VIP tent for being a "Rock Star" as one of the top 100 fund raisers in the Denver area walk for 2013(hence the microphone and wig on Wrigley in the photo).
Thanks goes out to the several AR members that made a donation. So far I have raised $3375! I surpassed my original goal of $2500 and then my adjusted goal of $3000. I couldn't have done it without the support of so many friends and family.
At this point, I am in the top 25 individual fund raisers for the Denver walk and I believe in the top 40
individual fund raisers for the state for 2014. There are 7 different walks in Colorado and 13 walks for the Colorado/Wyoming MS Chapter.
I made some wonderful friends along the walk. Pamela and her dog, Kona walked with me. We met at the starting line and became fast friends. She and her family members also ride bikes in the MS 150 mile bike race at the end of June or early July. I won't be riding in that event, but I am planning on going out to support them.
