Being a Pedestrian Friendly Area Has its Advantages
On nearly a daily basis I walk my rescue toy poodle Nathan over to Fountain Lake in Byrd Park. We circle around the lake, which is almost a half mile. It's less than a quarter mile to get over there to start walking at the lake, so I estimate that we easily walk almost a mile and a half total.
Nathan often is ready to go on walks. He just loves them and is accustomed to Byrd Park.
