This first year has been quite a ride! I just never expected that it would be so educational, so thought provoking, and yes, so much FUN! When I wrote that first blog I really had no expectations at all.
Like everyone else, I was nervous about putting my thoughts out there for others to see for the first time. I had a lot of experience writing rather dull, factual reports for my Board of Commissioners. How could I write anything that might be...interesting? And readable?
The comments on that first blog, "Sleeping With The Enemy" made a huge impact on my desire to participate in ActiveRain. Never underestimate the power of your comments--they can inform, they can encourage, or they can hurt. Fortunately, the comments I got that day kept me going.
The first five months of blogging were just a little slow--six blogs in the first five months. Not good. Probably typical. In November I took on the 30 in 30 challenge and the blogging ball started rolling. What a great challenge!
This is blog number 92! I've had 19 featured posts and I'm ranked #37 in Tennessee. To put that in perspective, I'd be ranked #301 in California! Wow, you guys really rock on the west coast!
Thanks for the incredible time so far on AR. What I discovered here was a surprise--an amazing community of bright, articulate people who were willing to share their secrets about doing real estate and life. I've laughed with you and I've cried with you. I look forward to waking up every day and seeing what's going on with my AR family, because that's what you are!
