Is it worth it to stage a home that is already beautifully decorated?

Home staging in Vaughan we get asked this question all the time.

Is it really worth it to stage a home that is beautifully decorated already? We don't want to waste your time or our client's time.

The answer is always YES.

Decorating is for the way you live.

Staging is marketing and what we do is prepare a home for listing photos. We call it "facing for the photographer". And it makes a huge difference as to how the listing photos look online.

In this home that we just staged at 112 Ivy Jay Aurora we suggested that the home owner buy 5 pieces of artwork, two area rugs and some fresh flowers.

We returned to face the home for listing photos.  With over 90% of buyers looking online for their next dream home marketing your home for listing photos always pays off in less days on market and achieving the best price possible.

Check out the results.. the minimal investment by the home owner and the tweaking by our company definitely allowed the home to make a great first impression online with buyers.

Investment, minimal.

Impact, priceless.

Michelle - This just recently happened to us.  We staged a home that had undergone extensive renovations, and was pretty nicely decorated.  However, we were able to improve traffic flow, bring in a more updated sectional, and add a few touches here and there that made all the difference.  Every home deserves staging to a certain degree.

Hi Sharon, it is a term we used in photogrpahy sessions so I use it to describe what we do when we stage. If you have ever worked in a grocery store you know that they "face" the products on the shelf every morning. It makes a great first impression there as well when their customers come in.

HI Sally, you are absolutely right about every home needing a final tweak. What we do is set everything in the room, on tables, position lamps, etc. so that it all looks great in photographs. We only get one chance with photos, no one is paying for the photogrpaher to return if they turn out badly. Better to pay for a stager to make everything just right for the lens.
