With summer here … well maybe not officially yet, but sure feels like it … it’s time to mark the calendar for the great summer events that are planned for this year in the Conejo Valley.
June 8th – Agoura Hills
Free Concert at the Peter Strauss Ranch
This ranch is owned by actor Peter Strauss who while filming the 1976 movie “Rich Man, Poor Man” at Malibou Lake fell for the natural beauty of the area. He purchased it, restored it, and lived here until 1983. Because of his concern for the natural environment, he sold it to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.
Now there are Sunday concerts held in the tree-shaded park. Bring a beach chair and your own snacks to enjoy this Sunday’s show …
