Granted there is a lot of information out there for a Buyer and Seller to use if they want to go the extra mile do their own transactions, but why would you?  I have tried this Zillow and so far it has not worked for me, my best bet for CMA has been through my local Realtor association to start out and then I personally visit the area.  The problem sellers or buyers face that once they know the average value, who will interpret the numbers, percentages, days on the market, or the areas uniqueness for them, especially buyers that are new to the area. 

So Mr. Seller and Mrs. Buyers when you get this information from Zillow or Realtor .com, just call me or any of my colleagues knowledgable in this business.  If you are represented by an agent that is worthy of your business, he'll step up to the plate and make sure you get the best transaction. Yes, this is our business and when we represent you we do get paid  by 100% commission, not a salary or bonus.

In addition Mr. and Mrs. Inquisitive, when you contact me to get this information direct or indirectly, please don't hang up on me, just tell me you no longer require that information and have changed your mind. Just plain rude is unacceptable, if you were to this at your place of business with a customer, you could get fired. (I had to get this of my chest.) But I forgive you, probably a stressful day.
