REOMAC Spring 2008

I have not been to this but I do hear its great info.

I haven't been, but I did go to Five Star in Dallas last September. I met alot of great agents. The Lenders are all there and have presentations on "How to get lisings from them" They are inundated with agents trying to shove their cards and brochures at them. I think half of it gets tossed in the trash.The DS News puts on thw conference, they have classes also, and you can get certified after five classes. I think it was worthwhile, but I can't say I have received any business as a result (yet). I have heard REOMAC is great, but can't attend this spring.

I am headed out next Sunday.... I have been to a ton of conferences... REOMAC is a great place to meet others and begin to learn the biz... the problem is that there are so many people, with resumes in hand....

The key is meeting the asset managers and more importantly, other experienced agents who are from other states.. they can be a huge source of info.

 This will be my first REOMAC conference, but I am a long timer at the Five Star in Dallas.  What I can tell you is look for REO Superstars or Super Teams that can offer you experience learned the hard way so you can avoid all the pitfalls.  REO is not easy, but can be very profitable in any market if you learn the process and the shortcuts.

Sue... I did not go to thr REOMAC conference but I will be attending the Keystone Asset Management Training Seminar in Orlando at the end of April this month... anyone else here on AR attending this event?

I am going to the Keystone conference at the end of April. Hopefully it will be informative and Orlando is always fun. Anyone else going to this?  

Is everyone going staying at the Hilton.  Does anyone know if there will be a shuttle for surrounding hotels.

I am going to the Five Star Conference, staying at the Hilton and would love to chat with anyone who knows the ropes and is willing to share information about what I should be doing to prepare myself.

I have heard the same thing as well, but I havent had the opportunity to attend.

I am going to REOMAC Coference next october 14, 2009. I hope to learn something there!
