Just about every occupation has had at least one pariah who spoiled their professional reputation through dastardly and despicable deeds.
For example a politician who uses his position to influence contractors to quote for civil construction jobs with a kickback of wads of cash under the table to secure the contract may rightly be described as a pariah. In other words, a cheat and a liar who does not deserve the trust of the people who empowered him or her in the first place.
We can pick a few lessons based on the above story. This wasn’t just a person who abused his position. We all have put our trust to professional people. We are too busy building a legitimate business and I am sure this applies to 99.9% of all professionals working in various aspects of the real estate business. However, just like the Osmonds song: One bad apple doesn’t spoil the bunch.
