The age-old battle between blondes and brunettes will be decided upon the field of battle, and you’re not going to want to miss it. The Blondes vs. Brunettes Flag Football Game pits teams against each other accordingly, and this year they’ll be doing it at Trinity High School Stadium on June 7.

Blondes vs. Brunettes

The game starts at Trinity at noon sharp, and the action won’t stop until the game is over. The Blondes vs. Brunettes game has swept the nation, and it’s raised more than $2 million for Alzheimer’s research and resources.

The game itself is ladies-only, and anyone who has red hair or another color that doesn’t fit the main categories can go free agent. That means you choose your side. Men who want to participate are welcome to be cheerleaders – they’re needed at this yearly event!

It’s a fun event with an important cause: fighting Alzheimer’s. Even if you don’t live near this part of Louisville, it’s worth the trip to Trinity to see the game and enjoy the neighborhood.

Attend Trinity for a Day

Trinity High School, one of Louisville's most well-known centers of education, is located off Shelbyville Road near Westport Road. It's surrounded by neighborhoods, shopping, restaurants and other points of interest. Trinity is located in the St. Matthews area, first settled in 1779. The memory of Floyd's Station, the first settlement in the area, still exists today. There were so many beautiful farms in this part of the city back then, St. Matthews was known as the "garden" of the state.

St. Matthews today is one of the city's most beautiful and modern neighborhoods, with major shopping centers and great schools. Trinity is among them, and the Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football game is your chance to get a closer look at this famous school. So visit St. Matthews, and cheer on your team. You'll be doing a good thing.
