American Flag at Veteran's Memorial Park in Bonners Ferry Idaho

Bonners Ferry Idaho  sits on the Kootenai River approximately 30 miles from the Canadian Border.  As visitors and locals alike come south on Highway 95 they are welcomed by our American Flag flying in the Veteran's Memorial Park.  As you travel north, the Kootenai River acts as a back drop to the park and flag. Our Canadian visitors, from Creston, Cranbrook, Nelson, Kimberly, and many more cities, are welcomed by this site as they come thru Bonners Ferry.  On this particular day I was taken back by the vivid colors, soft wave of our flag against the clear blue sky.  I had to stop.  I hope you will enjoy the beauty of our flag (short YouTube video) as it showed itself off this peaceful Sunday morning.

I clicked SUGGEST with hopes that your post will be featured. Your video is so moving and you send a powerful message too. I was so impressed, I watched your video several times. Then I forwarded your video to a member of the DAR here in Flower Mound, TX. The membership has been trying to get the Town Council to approve a Veteran's Memorial Park for years (perhaps a decade... too long). The Council members have not approved this worthwhile project but they did approve a Dog Park!!! 

Thank you Mark for this video. I pray it will be featured. You did an excellent job on your video presentation and you honor our Veterans with pride.
