I agree with your philosophy. At the office we are a team although we compete with each other. (It's a healthy competition.) But, meeting fellow real estate agents from different offices is rewarding as well. Agents from different real estate teams send me emails of new properties they just listed. Staying on top of new homes on the market is a must. You can always expect clients to fall in love with an inner office listing. Networking with agents to compete with other agents is the new black. I am always looking at my competitors and analysis what they do and what they are not doing. And, improving myself, there are many real estate agents that have a full-time job and doing real estate on the side. Then, there are a handful that are full-time agents as ourselves that made it through with our competitive spirit.
Marc, great attitude! Competition is what makes the world go around. Without competitors, who would sell our properties. Competition is healthy. There is more than enough business to go around.
