When a person has something to prove nothing stands in their way. The harder they fall the harder they bounce back.

But praise be to God who gives us strength to overcome through our Lord Jesus Christ.
It doesn't matter how far you have fallen, God can reach you, even if He has to reach far. It doesn't matter, how deep you are in your mess. Jesus can pick you up and get you back on track, plant your feet on solid ground. Jesus can do it!
Because of our mistakes we can never condemn ourselves. By saying "I am not going to make it or I'm never going to mount to anything." Jesus loves us always has and always will. The power of His blood continues to prevail. I always say, "I am still holding on. I am still here today because I never would have made it without The Lord.
It's not always easy to make prospecting phone calls even if they are to people I know. Because I'm calling for referrals I'm calling to find out if they have a need for my services. Those calls are not always easy to do.

[Of David.] The Lord is my light and my salvation; who is then a cause of fear to me? the Lord is the strength of my life; who is a danger to me?
Really I give it all to Christ, I can't do anything on my own. I put Him first, give Him all the glory for my success.
This has worked for multiple offer situations, price adjustments, calming of nerves you name the problem. The Lord has the solution!
My disclaimer, I have not made $8 million dollars in any year. I am much closer to the $40K. 
However, I do believe having something to prove and bouncing back from my mistakes is the key to my current success.
