Now to get serious, Blue Eye, Missouri, is the southernmost town in Stone County. In fact, part of the town is in Missouri and part is in Arkansas. It's located just south of the MO 86 and MO 13 intersection.
According to the 2000 U.S. Census, the population was 129 and the the town has a total area of 0.5 square miles.
I'm not sure how this small town got its name. The Stone County Relocation Guide mentioned that the name is possibly derived from its first postmaster's distinctive blue eyes. If anyone has any insight on this subject, please let me know.
