How to find your La Quinta Realtor

Confused? Fatigued?  Don't even know what to ask a potential Realtor?  Are you looking for an Agent to help you locate your new La Quinta home?

Take a deep breath, count to 5, let your breath out, and start a list.  Two Lists actually.  One list is your "must haves"..the non-negotiables that you will have in your new house.  Keep it short, keep it simple, put down the BIG things!

List #2:  Your "Dream List".  These are the things you would Like to have in your new property. 

Now, set that aside and think about the type of Sales Person you work best with.  I know, for myself, I don't like a sales person that follows me around the store, or calls me relentlessly with another angle to suck me in.  Think seriously about what traits you'd like in your Realtor.

Now..start your homework. 

1.  Hit the Internet and check out the web presence of several La Quinta Realtors.

2.  Interview several Realtors in person.  Listen to your gut..does this man or woman "fit" you?  Don't force it, Listen carefully . 

3.  Ask for referrals, but don't skip the interview process..we are all different in person!

4.  I would strongly suggest you be careful about using a family member or friend...sometimes it's harder to be truthful, and to be tough when you need to be, with a friend! 

There are alot of good agents in the La Quinta area..take your time, relax, find your MATCH!
