I have owned the IPhone for a few months now and although it's impressive in terms of email functionality, speed of internet, large display screen, etc., it still has several major flaws.
Flaw 1:
Speaker phone stinks. Microphone stinks too. You literally have to be in a quite environment and the phone has to be so close to your mouth or you wont be able to hear and your caller wont be able to hear your voice on the other end. The headphone set is awesome though. Maybe I am just deaf or don't speak loud enough, but that's not the way it was like on my other phone. I could have my motorola all the way across the room and be able to not only hear but speak at a normal volume and the caller would hear me fine.
Maybe I am being to picky, but for the price, I figured it would be a little better on functionality.
Flaw 2:
In my opinion, the IPhone is not really for the real estate professional. Searching on FMLS, or MLS is about impossible. For FMLS, unless there is something I am missing, you have to use the Palm site associated with the FMLS system. http://www.fmlsw.com/ When doing a search by subdivision, if the neighborhood has over 50 active listings, it requires more detail to access any of those listings, if you don't have a street name, you are out of luck! Although you can go to the standard http://www.fmls.com/ website, it wont operate the functions within the site because it apparently is not configured to work with the iphone. I realize this is just compatibility issues, but I was unter the impression that the IPhone would operate like a laptop computer. Not the case.
