Throwback Thursday: 4 Generations of Joes

What is so special about the number 22?  It indeed is a very significant number in our family.

 

4 Generations of JoesThis is a photo of my father-in-law, husband, son, and grandson taken 22 years ago – Joseph A. Gottwald, I through Joseph A. Gottwald, IV.

 

What is interesting is my husband was born when his father was 22, our son was born when my husband was 22, and the grandson was born when our son was 22.  

 

We are sending this message to our grandson, Joseph, IV – It’s okay not to follow tradition, you need to complete two more years at the Albany School of Pharmacy.

Such a happy photo Bette, I believe that I was 22 when my first son was born too.  Now they are all well past 22 and no grandchildren on the way yet.
