Have you made plans yet to check out fireworks in Richmond, VA, this 4th of July?  I actually haven’t checked out the fireworks in a few years since I have a two and a half year old and I am worried she may be a little afraid of the noise.  I would also prefer to put her to bed early on most nights and relax with my husband on the couch with a good movie rather than fighting traffic, crowds, and humidity.  (I know…we are huge party poopers!)

However, for those of you with kids who are old enough to know better and will insist on a good fireworks show, I’m sure you’re already scouting out the best locations to view the fireworks in RVA this Fourth of July.  Here’s a list I’ve compiled, and below are links to more information…

Whitney-This is a great localism post. I also haven't been to see fireworks in a while so maybe I am a party pooper too but I don't like those things that you mentioned either.  A quiet evening at home can be much more relaxing and fun.  I also agree that the loud noise from the fireworks would be scary for a small child.

Good morning Whitney, Wow! If you like fireworks, you could make several days of it, since there are 3 days of fireworks in your area. I remember as a child, every town had their own fireworks,  We were close enough, that we could sit in our back yard and watch 3 of them at the same time, all in different directions.
