This home will take a special Buyer????

Real Estate Agent with RETIRED 200305001

"This home will take a special kind of buyer". That was a statement made today in our company sales meeting. Don't all homes take a special buyer? Like the one that actually wants it?

I know I have heard this statement many times and probably have used it myself. Some how hearing it today, caused me to ponder the meaning of this. The home in question here is a morphidite in my humble opinion. Your thoughts?

Rob - I think it sounds very negative. No matter the listing, I don't think I would use this phrase.

Rob, I always think those a special words stating the home is different in one way or another.

I don't think it is a plus for marketing the home, that's for sure, Rob.  But, to each his own.
