As I continue my trek to find and meet my Trusted Resources it is refreshing to know that there are GREAT people who are with GREAT organizations you have a Passion as I do to Help Seniors, Active Adults and their Caretakers.
A typical week starts with having set up 3-5 appointments to find the VERY Best Resources in the Central Florida area. Most all of the meetings are set up at their respective businesses. This way I am able to see their operation and the people they have working for them. I share with them what I am currently doing to be a Trusted Resource for Seniors, Active Adults and their Caretakers. I present to them what Marketing pieces are setup leaving behind flyers, brochures and showing them my website ( www.yourfloridahaven.com ) . In addition, what type of businesses are being added to my list and how they are all used describing several scenario's. This way they are able to see who my TRUSTED RESOURCES are and have a full understanding of HOW they all compliment each other. Once the presentation is completed I have them all sign a Trusted Resource Agreement where they agree to align their business practices and principles with mine and have a Passion for Working with Seniors, Active Adults and their Caretakers. The response has been remarkable!
I have agreements with Roofers, Electrician's, Air Conditioning Technicians, Plumbers, Yard Care, Home Warranty Companies, Financial Planners, Mortgage Personnel, Reverse Mortgage Expert, Home Health Care Representatives, Flooring, Painters, Dry Wall, Handyman, Long Term Health Care Providers, Elder Law, Real Estate Attorney's, Planned Meal Programs, ( Assisted Living, CCRC, Independent Living & Memory Care Communities ), Move Managers, Moving Companies, Senior Placement Advisor's, Medicare and Medicaid Providers and a list of many more that are on my radar.
Additional contacts are being met via my Volunteering efforts with American Cancer Society, Seniors First ( Meals on Wheels ), Adopt a Highway of Orange County, the Jewish Pavilion organization, networking events and seminars both as an attendee and participant.
I have finally found the career that I truly Love and that is being a Trusted Resource! It is about Helping other people when they do not know what is available and what turn they need to make.
