Does it Matter How Clean your Closets, Drawers and Cabinets are?

Feng Shui leaves not stone un-turned which includes your closets, drawers and cabinets.  Objects always tell a story and have some kind of profound connection with your sub-conscious mind.

Consider that perspective when clearing out and it may help you understand the greater importance of what it means to "de clutter" and organize.

Let's say you have objects stored in your closet from the past and in particular these objects, photos, old clothing etc could be from a past love interest.  Even though to the naked eye, its just a closet, Feng Shui sees that as a metaphor of not having fully let go of the past while at the same time creating self blockages from progressing forward and opening yourself up to a relationship you deserve that will add value.

Yes, according to Feng Shui it absolutely does matter how clean your closets, drawers and cabinets are.

Hi Laura - I have noticed that I feel better when my closet and drawers are in order.  When they are messy, it's stressful to me.

I am in trouble. Even on my best day my closet will not look like that. I wouldn't know what to do an my cats would be deprived of a hiding place. Good thing I am not selling.

It does in my opinion too. I hate disorganized clutter, even if it's hidden behind closed doors.

I so enjoy getting your insight on all things Feng Shui.  I usually have never considered the points you bring up, but once you explain them, it makes sense.  I am a firm believer that the less clutter you have the more room you have to "breathe" and that makes for a more productive environment.
