The Cupcake Company's Special Treat for Kline May Realty!

As you all may know, today is Hump Day. Just get to quitting time on Wednesday, and you're closer to Friday than you are to Monday. In honor of Hump Day, a local Shenandoah Valley business celebrates its loyal fan-following with a cupcake drawing. The Cupcake Company of Penn Laird, VA is a favorite among many Valley residents (including myself), and every Wednesday scores of people comment on the weekly Cupcake Company status, "What day is today?" The answer is always Hump Day, and one person from the hundreds who comment correctly is the chosen one, and that lucky winner gets 2 dozen cupcakes delivered to his or her place of employment.

I enter the drawing almost every week, and I haven't won...yet, which sometimes makes me a little sad because I love cupcakes, so much so that we had Cupcake Company cupcakes at my husband's and my wedding in November. But today, Wednesday, June 25th, was different from most Hump Days. I lost the drawing again, but Angela Dove, one of our agents with Kline May Realty won, and she very graciously shared her cupcakes with her office mates.

When Angela presented her cupcakes to me and the agent I was meeting with, I had a difficult choice to make. Which kind of cupcake shall I try today? After some careful deliberation inside my own head, I had a Raspberry Merlot Truffle cupcake. Valrhona chocolate raspberry cupcake filled with a creamy chocolate raspberry truffle center, topped with whipped merlot-infused buttercream frosting and chocolate curls.Needless to say, I'm happy and so is my belly.

In conclusion, Cupcake Company cupcakes are a fabulous treat that make my stomach smile, and if you love cupcakes, I'm sure the cupcakes at this Penn Laird, VA gem will make your stomach smile too.
