Julian 4th Of July Parade And Festival                                            

Where: Downtown Julian

What: Bank Robbery (Local Performers) Fly Over By T-34 Trainers, parade, BBQ, Concert

If you haven’t made the trip up for a 4th of july in Julian, now is a good time. For more than 20 years parade lover’s come from all over the county for a day full of fun entertainment. Gunfight and Bank Robbery, T-34 Trainer Flyover, marching bands, see the Mountain Tribal Gypsies dance down main Street honor submarine veterans and a salute to the U.S. Marine Color guards. Enjoy a fantastic BBQ while swinging to tunes of four bands.

Coronado Independence Day Celebration 2014 Schedule

Where: Downtown Coronado                                           
Time:  7:00am to 9:00pm
What: Annual Independence Day 15K Run-5K Run/Walk,Rough Water Swim, Parade, Concert In The Park, Fireworks
Cost: FREE!!!

Coronado's popular annual Independence Day activities kick off with a 15k Run/Walk at dawn. Local Art vendors will have displays throughout Spreckel’s park. Adrian Empire Demo in Spreckels Park. Recreation of Western European culture between the years 1066-1603.  San Diego Star Wars Society in Spreckels Park - Will be Available for Photos. This event is extremely popular so get there at 5:00am to claim a spot or it is strongly suggested you take the San Diego Ferry or ride a bike.

Old Fashioned 4th Of July

Where: Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Rd, Poway, CA 92064    
Time:  10:00am to 4:00pm
What: Games, model train display, vintage LEGO toys for viewing, classic cars and our historical gun fighting re-enactors will perform mock train robberies and gunfights.
Cost: FREE!!!

Turn back the clock and celebrate the Fourth of July turn-of-the century style! There will be live musical performances in the Gazebo throughout the day, and patriotic children’s activities will be offered such as arts and crafts. There will be plenty of lunch items and treats for sale including an old-fashioned picnic lunch, a traditional ice cream social and more! Poway Station Model Railroad Club will feature a large model train display, the L-Gauge Museum will have a vintage LEGO toys for viewing, classic cars will be showcased in the park, and our historical gun fighting re-enactors will perform mock train robberies and gunfights.

USS Midway 4th Of July

What: Museum, Flight deck, simulated rides, face painting and fireworks
Cost: $10-$15

The USS Midway Museum’s annual 4th of July celebration attended by 4,000 people, is the biggest family party in town! Fortunate attendees to this annually sold-out celebration watch the spectacular “Big bay Fireworks show from the flight deck! And, the Midway is perfectly positioned. It’s the closest venue to the four barge locations from which the fireworks are launched, offering the best view of the largest fireworks show on the West Coast.

Red, White And Boom! Rocks Legoland

Bring the kids for an action packed day at Legoland ending with a fantastic fireworks show set to patriotic music.Throughout the day, kids of all ages can enjoy live musical performances and participate in all-American family picnic games, like water-balloon tosses, burlap sack races, family build challenge and LEGO Hamburger relay.
