Fan Pier is a bustling and growing part of Boston where one of the city’s newest condominium developments is going up. Twenty Two Liberty, a luxury residence overlooking Boston Harbor, is anticipated for completion and move-in for the fall of 2015.
Situated at the entrance to Fort Point Channel, Fan Pier is a premiere location in the ever-growing Seaport District for such property development. Twenty Two Liberty is billed as a 14-story residence featuring a stunning glass facade with balconies and views facing the water. Ground broke for this project back in October 2013 and is progressing quickly, with architects describing this shimmering tower as a reflection of the intimate relationship between water and sky that also exudes calmness.
Units range from studio to 3-bedroom-plus penthouse homes, with 109 total units planned for the project. Each residence boasts customizable kitchens with Sub Zero and Wolf appliances. Floor to ceiling windows and wood floors grace every apartment, with bathrooms that bear marble floors and Kohler fixtures. Select units also include a library/den with fireplace. Other amenities include a round-the-clock concierge, underground parking with 282 spaces, a private van service billed to make regular trips in and around the city, and a promise from the developer to gain LEED certification for the building.
When finished, this complex will become the first residential development within the 21-acre Fan Pier project, which also includes a marina, bayside parkland, offices, a hotel, retail shopping and dining. The building is a short walk to the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston’s Financial District, as well as water taxis, South Station and the Silver Line.
There is still no official release on the prices of these units, but interested parties can view a model residence by appointment. For more information on these or other properties, please contact agent Chris Remmes at 617-398-0018 or www.RemmesRE.com.
