Let me first take this opportunity to thank everyone who responded to my inaugural blog. I have to say that I was surprised by the response. Some just to welcome me and others to offer helpful hints or words of encouragement. What a great feeling it was to receive such a warm and responsive welcome.
Prior to posting my first blog, I did rummage through the network to see what all the BUZZ was about. I didn't lknow what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of the network. Before I learned of Active Rain, from Margaret Rome, I thought it was just something that happened during HURRICANE SEASON. I then spent some time exploring the avenues it had to offer. I spent time reading, looking and then reading more. I joined groups and have even subscribed to others blogs. WOW The information you find on this network is overwhelming, to say the least. And it was so reassuring to see so many Realtors, lenders, stagers, you name it - CARING AND especially SHARING with each other.
And after seeing all the information available to me, I found it unbelievable, as a ROOKIE Realtor (in the literal sense) that I had never heard of Active Rain before. How could all this knowledge be available, and through all my Real Estate classes, networking and training, never heard it mentioned. Which really leads me to the point of this blog. To me the Active Rain Network is the "Best Kept Secret in Real Estate". Maybe it was in front of me all the time, maybe I hang out with the wrong crowd or maybe when people were talking about it I thought they were discussing the weather conditions. I don't know. All I do know is that I have found it and to that I say THANK YOU. So for those those of you who may read this blog, my question is this:
WHERE, WHEN AND HOW WERE YOU INTRODUCED TO THE ACTIVE RAIN NETWORK?
