Where to advertise listings online?

By
Real Estate Agent with AM Real Estate Resources

I want to be sure I am listing every where online I can-- so that my customers don't decide to go with someone else to reach a wider market audience.  Can someone tell me where to post?  I already do craigslist and zillow and realtor.com ... any other free ones I should do?  Thanks for your help.

Hi JJ,

Come join my group Free Tools For Real Estate Agents. We have a list of sites that you can advertise on for free, as well as a lot of information on other free (or close to free) things for agents.

Go to www.postlets.com -- this web site then posts your listings to a variety of sites.    It's free and a great way to get your listings posted online.

Hi JJ,

My broker John Milakovic arranged for his agents to learn how to use  www.Point2Agent.com by David Abernathy (who is also an AR member). When you list there, it gives you options to about 20 other websites...almost all are free and a few will cost you, but it's a great place to place listings.

Good luck!

Hi JJ,

I've used postlets but haven't heard of the site by David Abernathy which I'm going to check out.  Have a nice night.  Michael A. Caruso

Some of the real estate magazines in our area populate our properties to a number of other sites. By advertising with the one of the magazines in my area my listings go out to about 16 sites! It's not free but if your sellers want print in the ad mix it's a good option!

Try looking for locations where you can syndicate your listings, that way you're hitting tons of sites all at once, rather than loading your info up on site at a time!

Postlets.com is a good source, as is vflyer!

JJ - good question.  I saw someone recently claim that they advertise on 100 web sites and I can't imagine what they could all be!

JJ -- I advertise in the Real Estate Book.  Of course I pay to advertise in print there, and clients like to see their stuff in print.  But when I advertise there my listings are online-plus i can add additional pictures and my virtual tour in addition they push my listing out to many other websites such as:  realestate.com, bobvila.com, homegain, truila, google, condo.com, homescape, houselocator.com, yahoo, and luxury listings (wish I had) go to wallstreetjournal online, unique homes, and the new york times.

Check the web for your area as well and you may stumble across some places that offer free advertising of anything for sale.  We have one here called www.finditcomo.com and people advertising anything for sale from homes, to cars, clothes, etc.

You can also post listings on ActiveRain under localism.  I've had clients find me from that as well.  Hope this helps.
