Best Places to See Fireworks in the Denver Metro Area

The 4th of July, that wonderful celebration of our nation's independence, is just around the corner. Do you know how you'll be celebrating the holiday this year? There will be fireworks all around the Denver Metro area, but if you're unsure about where you'll be able to view the amazing displays we've provided a short list of some of the Fireworks displays in the area. Enjoy!

Arvada

Independence Day Celebration at the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex

The fun begins at 4pm and includes live music, military display vehicles, and a free kid’s play zone.

 

Aurora

4th of July Spectacular  at The Municipal Center Great Lawn

Come enjoy some live music between 6 and 9 p.m. followed by a spectacular fireworks show.

 

Broomfield

Fourth of July Celebration at Broomfield County Commons complex

This event includes entertainment for children and carnival games, food vendors and picnic areas. The fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

 

Commerce City

4thFest Friday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park

Come enjoy a fun zip line, bungee trampoline, climbing wall, ropes course, mechanical bull, musical acts, toddler zone. The fun-filled festivities begin at 5pm, and fireworks are set to start around 10 p.m. after the Colorado Rapids game.

 

Denver

Fireworks At Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park

Why not spend the day riding roller coasters and enjoying the water park at Elitch Gardens, and then finish the evening off with an amazing fireworks show? The fireworks are set to start at dusk. 

 

Coors Field

There will be fireworks on both July 3rd and 4th, right after the Rockies game. Come see the Rockies take on the LA Dodgers and see some spectacular fireworks afterwards!

 

 

Englewood

Fiddler's Green Amphitheater
Come spend the evening with the Colorado Symphony this holiday. The Colorado Symphony will be celebrating the music of Star Wars at their Independence Day Strikes Back Celebration. The fun starts at 7:30pm.

 

 

Littleton

19th Annual 4th of July Family Festival and Fireworks Show
If you're near the intersection of Belleview and Windermere you won't want to miss this one. There is fun to be had for the whole family starting at 10am, with fireworks starting at 9:30pm

 

Thornton

Carpenter Park Fields 4th of July Celebration

Starting at 4pm, this fun celebration includes live music, food vendors, and beer gardens. The fireworks show starts at 9:30

 

Westminster

4th of July Celebration at City Park 

If you're looking for an even that lasts all day, this is the even for you. This one includes food vendors, an activity zone, and car show. There is limited parking but a free shuttle bus is available at  Westminster and Hyland Hills.  Fireworks are set to begin at 9:15 p.m.
