You know what today is. It's June 30th, the last day of the month. Yes, you are reviewing your monthly goals, checking on how you stack up at the 1/2 yearly mark and making necessary adjustments to make sure you meet year end goals.
But, there is also the "End of the month, on the edge of your seat" phenomenon. Yes, it is 
the "What Contests Will They Roll Out Next Month' Day!" If you are anything like me, I log in the last day or so at the end of the month, hoping to see an upcoming contest posted under the Resource menu. After all, there is much to consider when contemplating new contest topics:
- What if I write a blog today, that could have been used in a contest that is posted in the next few days?
- What if they post a "30 in 30" contest and I need to get a head start on writing a bunch of drafts?
- Getting a head start on contests and completing them long before the deadline is very satisfying.
- I need some time to think and plan for those specific topics!
Don't get too excited, I just checked and there is nothing new, yet. :(
