What Sets Me Apart From The Competition?
The answer to that question is: SERVICE!!
In the Mortgage industry, we all have similar products (rates, programs & time-line). To offer service, this is something intentional. This is something that I choose to offer. This is a decision that cannot be managed; it is an action of the heart, mind and soul.
Sometimes people will overlook service, for what they think as getting a better deal. But Service goes hand and hand with the rate, program & procedures.
SERVICE also means keeping up on the guidelines and flow of the industry. Some Loan Officer play the numbers game. Get as many people through the system without regard as to whether they fit the program or have the proper qualifications to get the loan.
My vision and plan has always been to work with the highest level of Integrity and SERVICE, which is due my customers.
SERVICE is not just about learning new guidelines, but SERVICE also means keeping up on the technology. Providing service has to be across the board with regard to technology. Many buyers are very savvy when it comes to technology and to service that demographic, technology is the way to service them.
Sometimes Service means going the extra mile to make sure your client feels comfortable with their choice of a loan product. It may include doing a manual package, where you go to the client’s home to have the documents signed, keep them abreast of the progress of their loan. Even deliver not so good news, when you have to. Be honest about the status of their loan. Sometimes Service is not always good news, but the truth about what is going on with the loan.
By continuing to learn, keeping up with new rules, guidelines & regulations, technology updates, communicating with my clients, and keeping up with the needs of my client, that will provide SERVICE and SET ME APART FROM THE COMPETITION!
