Moving Camp on the Argonne Audit Cruise

Forestry Camp on the Argonne Audit Cruise

One of the things that I like about these Audit Inventories it that we stay in one remote area long enough to set up a camp.

On this project we had 5 people camped out in 1 camper, 2 trucks and 1 tent.

We found out after setting up this camp along an old logging road that someone else thought that it would also be a good place to set up a bear baiting station 50 yards further down the trail.

The Bears kept to themselves and so did we and everyone got along while at this camp.

Camping in an area that they're baiting bears . . .  . would be very interesting.

Good luck and success.

There is nothing like picking those wild berries and adding them to cream of wheat or granola for a morning feast.  And, I am glad that the  bears kept to themselves!   You should check out Ron's post today for a bear delight!

Good morning Bob. It sure is a good thing that your camps are mobile. Nice job finding the treasure in the forest.

Make it a great 4th!
