ALAMOSA -  The celebration kicks off at the SLV Federal Banks parking lot with the 40th Annual Kiwanis Breakfast from 7-10 a.m. They'll have all you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage & ham $6 for adults and $3 for kids 12 & under. Tickets can be purchased at the breakfast or from any Kiwanis member. Afterwards enjoy the parade down Main Street, and fireworks out at the Alamosa Fairgrounds at dusk. More info:

ARVADA - Events start at 4 p.m. at the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex, entrance at 58th Avenue and Oak Street.  Apex Park & Recreation District, Arvada Festivals Commission and KOOL105 will provide free entertainment and a variety of food will be available for purchase. Fireworks cap off the evening. More:

ASPEN  - Start the day with a race at 8 a.m. and parade at 11 a.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 p.m. over Aspen Mountain, weather permitting. More info:

AURORA - The city’s Municipal Center Great Lawn will feature live music and food beginning at 6 p.m. The fireworks show begins at the Aurora Municipal Center at 9:30 p.m. with choreographed music on Studio 1430 KEZW. The Aurora Municipal Center is located 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, but there is limited seating on the lawn. Additional recommended viewing locations include east of Potomac Street, south of Sixth Avenue, north of Mississippi Avenue and west of Buckley Road. More info:

AVON - Harry A. Nottingham Park will host a fireworks show on THURSDAY July 3 at 9:15 p.m. The events start at 5 p.m. with a family friendly festival on the park that includes face painters, fire jugglers, stilt walkers, balloon sculptors, magicians, and much more. Bring your blanket and enjoy festival style food favorites from fresh squeezed lemonade and funnel cakes to mini-donuts and roasted ears of corn. More info:

BEAVER CREEK - Independence day celebration, with live music from Pat Green and Michaelis starts at 6 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m. More info:

BENNETT: Movie night at 6:30 p.m. at Trupp Park, fireworks at dusk.

BLACK HAWK - "Boomtown" fireworks begin at 9 p.m.,  launched from two locations. The Boom Town Band performs 4-8 p.m. in Stroehle Square, Black Hawk and Main streets. More info:

BOULDER - Gates open at 8 p.m. at the University of Colorado's Folsom Field. The fireworks show is scheduled for approx. 9:40 p.m. Admission is free! More info:

BRECKENRIDGE -There will be a trail run, bike race and a variety of events throughout the day, ending with fireworks at 9:45 p.m. set off from between peak 8 and 9. The show will be visible from all over town. More info:

BRIGHTON - Fireworks will go off in Carmichael Park at dusk. More info:

BROOMFIELD - Firework display will begin around 9:30 p.m. at Broomfield County Commons Park. Flyer link:

BRUSH - Rodeo scheduled for 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds with a fireworks display to follow at 9:30 p.m.. More info:

BUENA VISTA - The community parade is at 10 a.m. Fireworks at dusk at Columbine Park, weather permitting. More info:

BYERS: Rodeo at 4 p.m., no fireworks planned.

CANON CITY - Begin the evening in Veteran's Park (1st & Royal Gorge Blvd.) with 'Applewood' performing a variety of classic rock and roll music.  Eat lots of FREE watermelon!! and then keep an eye out for the fireworks at dusk. More info:

CASTLE ROCK - Fireworks display at Meltzer Ranch Community Park at 9:45 p.m. and will last about 30 minutes. More info:

CHERRY HILLS COUNTRY CLUB- Cherry Hills Country Club told 7NEWS it will host a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

COLORADO SPRINGS - The city's 4th of July celebration will include the Philharmonic at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at dusk at Memorial Park, More info:

COMMERCE CITY - A fireworks show will follow the Colorado Rapids against the Columbus Crew game at the Dick's Sporting Goods Park. More info:

COPPER MOUNTAIN - Fireworks over the West Lake on SATURDAY, July 5 at 9 p.m. More info:

CREEDE - There is a fireworks show scheduled for 9 p.m.-9:30 p.m. along Main Street. More info:

CRESTED BUTTE - There will be a parade, a 1/3 marathon, live music and other events including fireworks at Crested Butte. More info:

DACONO: Colorado National Speedway will have fireworks after races on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5. More info:


·         On Thursday, July 3, at Civic Center Park -- The Fifth annual Independence Eve Celebration features a free patriotic concert by MIX, CU Denver's award-winning a capella group; the Hazel Miller Band and the Denver Municipal Band and a stunning fireworks finale. DURANGO - Fireworks will go off at dusk over Main Ave.

EAGLE - Bike parade in the morning and fireworks show at the Eagle County Fairgrounds at dusk.

EDGEWATER - Fireworks canceled.

ENGLEWOOD - The Family Festival & Fireworks event will be followed by a professional fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. The events will take place at Cornerstone Park (5150 S. Windermere Street.)

ENGLEWOOD --  Fireworks At Fiddler's Green featuring the Colorado Symphony playing patriotic favorites and songs from "Star Wars" and other favorites. Tickets start at $16.50:

ERIE - Colorado National Golf Club will host a 3rd of July extravaganza THURSDAY. Admission is free. Fireworks at dusk.

ESTES PARK - Fireworks are set to go off over Lake Estes at 9:30 p.m.

FAIRPLAY - The parade is at 5 p.m. and the fireworks show is at 9 p.m. over Fairplay.

FIRESTONE - Full day of Independence Day celebrations! Saddleback Golf Club will set off fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

FORT CARSON - An Independence Day celebration will take place on THURSDAY, July 3, at Fort Carson Iron Horse Park. The fireworks show is scheduled for 9:15 p.m. More at:

FORT COLLINS - A 5K, a parade and live music are just a few of the events you can check out in FOCO. City Park will host the fireworks display at approximately 9:35 p.m.

FORT LUPTON - The fireworks show will take place at the Rec Center Grounds at 9:30 p.m. Be sure to check out their website to sign up for the talent show!

FRISCO - Pancake breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at 110 3rd Ave. (fee) starts celebration off, ending with Fireworks over Frisco Bay Marina at 9:30 p.m.

FRUITA - Fireworks show on THURSDAY, July 3 at Snooks Bottom at dusk.

GEORGETOWN - Fireworks set for dusk in downtown Georgetown. Other festivities including small town parade begins at 11 a.m.

GLENDALE  - Fireworks will be blasted off on THURSDAY, July 3. Best places to view the fireworks are north of Virginia Street, south of Cherry Creek Drive South, west of Colorado Blvd., and east of Cherry Street.  For close-in viewing, gather in and around CitySet development or Whole Foods. GOLDEN -  Annual fireworks display at Lion's Park at sunset, held by the Lion's Club.

GRAND JUNCTION - Fireworks display at Lincoln Park at 9:45 p.m.

GRAND LAKE/GRANBY - Grand Lake Fireworks Extravaganza display on the Lakefront at 9:30 p.m.  Complete schedule of festivities:

GREELEY - Greeley Stampede! Fireworks at 10 p.m. at Island Grove Park.

GUNNISON -  Fireworks in Jorgensen Park at dusk.

HIGHLANDS RANCH -4th of July parade starts at 9 a.m. with a festival from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. with live music and a hot dog eating contest. Fireworks will light up the sky at Town Center Drive around 9:15 p.m.  Schedule of festivities:

HOLYOKE -- Firework will be on July 4th at the City Park, located at Johnson Street and Highway 385 at 9:30 p.m.                   

HUGO- Fireworks show at the fairgrounds at 9 p.m.

IDAHO SPRINGS: July 4th Festival, fireworks over Guanella Pass.

INDIAN HILLS - Fireworks will launch (weather permitting) at 9:20 p.m. at the Indian Hills Fire Station

KEYSTONE - Fireworks show at Lakeside Village at 9

KIOWA - Fireworks scheduled for the evening of June 28 at the Elbert County Fairgrounds after the Cow Boy up rodeo.

KREMMLING - Fireworks "Fire up on the Cliffs" display still scheduled.

LA JUNTA - John Fisher Hose Fireworks display at the La Junta Fairgrounds.

LAKEWOOD - No fireworks.

LAFAYETTE - 4th of July celebration and fireworks show at Waneka Lake.

LARKSPUR - Perry Park Country Club will launch fireworks at dusk.

LEADVILLE - The Tony Hren Memorial Fireworks Display, sponsored by the Leadville Lions Club will begin at dusk. The best place to view the fireworks is at the Lake County High School football field on West 4th Street.

LIMON - Fireworks on Saturday, July 5, at Gaskill Field. Check out their Facebook page for more information

LITTLETON - Red, White & You is on Thursday, July 3, at Clement Park. Fireworks at 9:30 (NO PETS). Then on Friday, the City of Littleton is hosting the 4th of July Family Festival and fireworks show at Cornerstone, Belleview and Progress parks. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

LOCHBUIE - No fireworks 

LONE TREE - Fireworks at Sweetwater Park are scheduled to go, as are the concert and celebration. Residents from Lone Tree and Acres Green can attend the celebration on July 4. Wristbands are required for entry. Celebration begins at 4 p.m.

LONGMONT- A fireworks display will be held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, near the intersection of Hover Road and Boston Avenue, at 9:30 p.m. Music synchronized to KRCN 1060AM.

LOVELAND - Fireworks Show - at 9:17 p.m. the show is set to begin over Lake Loveland. Approximately 30 minutes in length, and will culminate with a finale of close to 500 shots. Festivities throughout the day for North Lake Park.

LOUISVILLE: Fireworks are canceled.

MANITOU SPRINGS - Fireworks show in downtown Manitou Springs around 9:30 p.m.(weather depending.)

MONTROSE- The fireworks are hosted by the local Rotary Club. The best places to view the fireworks are from Sunset Mesa, Baldridge Park, Cerise park and McNeil Park. The show starts after the sun goes down.

MONUMENT - No fireworks, fireworks committee has disbanded.

MORRISON - Bandimere Speedway celebrate Independence Day on "Thunder Mountain" with the "Jet Car Nationals & Family Festival".  Tickets required for the festival. Jet cars and drag racing begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m-ish.

NEDERLAND - no fireworks this year.

NORTHGLENN - Fireworks show will start at 9:30 pm over Webster Lake. If the fireworks don't go off by 10 pm, the show will be postponed until Saturday July 5, at 9:30 pm.

OURAY - At around 9-9:30 p.m., a torchlight parade comes down the mountain signaling the start of a spectacular fireworks display. A laser light show will accompany this event.

PARKER - Celebrate Independence Day at the Town's annual celebration, Let Freedom Sing! Fireworks will be launched at 9:30. Grab blankets and lawn chairs and set up to enjoy live music, festive food vendors, family activities and more! On July 4 at Salisbury Park, 11920 Motsenbocker Rd. from 6 to 10 p.m.

PARK HILL, DENVER - Park Hill Parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Dexter between 23rd and Montview Blvd.

PUEBLO - There are 2 fireworks shows on July 4. Fireworks will be set off at sundown by the Pueblo West Fire Department and can be seen from everywhere in West Pueblo. The other display will be set off over the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo, $10 per person AT&T parking at dusk.

SIMLA -  Fireworks show scheduled on July 4 at the Simla football field.

SILVERTON - Fireworks will be shot off from Shrine Road after dark.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS - Tons of events on Independence day, concluding with a Firework Show at Howelsen Hill at 9:00

TELLURIDE - The annual fireworks will be launched above town park at dark, as long as wildfire danger is low.

THORNTON - Around 9:30 p.m., the fiery fun begins with a nighttime patriotic parachute jump by Mile Hi Skydiving immediately followed by a fireworks show at the Carpenter Park Multipurpose Fields at 108th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. The field opens at 4 p.m. with music, food and vendors.

VAIL - The annual Vail Fireworks Show will take place at Golden Peak on July 4th at dusk (Approx. 9:30pm). The Fireworks will be synchronized to a powerful musical soundtrack.

WELLINGTON: Fireworks will go off at dusk on July 4 in the open space across from the elementary school.

WESTCLIFFE: At dusk, on the 4th of July, Lake DeWeese transforms into a blaze of  fireworks put on by the Wet Mountain Valley Fire.

WESTMINSTER - Join us for the annual 4th of July Celebration. New this year Patriotic Bike parade from 3-4 pm, Activity Zone and food vendors open at 4, Colorado Car Show at 5 p.m., concert by Soul X at 7pm, followed by fireworks at 9:15pm at City Park.

WHEAT RIDGE - No fireworks on July 4. Fireworks still on for the Carnation Festival on Aug. 16 - 17. at Anderson

WINDSOR: Fireworks will follow the Jurassicasters concert over the Windsor Lake at dark.

WINTER PARK - A full weekend of events is planned in Winter Park with fireworks at dusk on the 4th of July at the Fraser Valley Sports Complex
