ALAMOSA - The celebration kicks off at the SLV Federal Banks parking lot with the 40th Annual Kiwanis Breakfast from 7-10 a.m. They'll have all you can eat pancakes, eggs, sausage & ham $6 for adults and $3 for kids 12 & under. Tickets can be purchased at the breakfast or from any Kiwanis member. Afterwards enjoy the parade down Main Street, and fireworks out at the Alamosa Fairgrounds at dusk. More info: alamosa.org
ARVADA - Events start at 4 p.m. at the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex, entrance at 58th Avenue and Oak Street. Apex Park & Recreation District, Arvada Festivals Commission and KOOL105 will provide free entertainment and a variety of food will be available for purchase. Fireworks cap off the evening. ASPEN - Start the day with a race at 8 a.m. and parade at 11 a.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 p.m. over Aspen Mountain, weather permitting. More info: aspenchamber.org
AURORA - The city’s Municipal Center Great Lawn will feature live music and food beginning at 6 p.m. The fireworks show begins at the Aurora Municipal Center at 9:30 p.m. with choreographed music on Studio 1430 KEZW. The Aurora Municipal Center is located 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, but there is limited seating on the lawn. AVON - Harry A. Nottingham Park will host a fireworks show on THURSDAY July 3 at 9:15 p.m. The events start at 5 p.m. with a family friendly festival on the park that includes face painters, fire jugglers, stilt walkers, balloon sculptors, magicians, and much more.
