Independence Day the Steamboat Way

Summers in Steamboat are even more magical than champagne powder winters, believe it or not. So if you are looking for a little taste of Steamboat community, history and festivities, then July 3-5 is a great time to be here. We roll out the red carpet for our Independence Day celebrations. As if two days of celebrations and activities is not enough, join us for a free summer concert featuring nationally-acclaimed Big Head Todd & the Monsters at Howelsen Hill on Saturday!
