Tiny baby girl is Abigail. Those two handsome boys are my cousins. This was Ryan (he's holding Abigail) at his 9th Birthday Party on June 29, 1988. Abigail was 9 days old and this was her first "outing". The other little boy is Christopher. He was just three months older than Ryan. Both these sweet boys are in heaven today. I'm grateful to have had them in my life for what I feel like was much too short of a time. And I'm looking forward to seeing them again on the other side some day.

What a special photo and I'm sure one you cherish. There sometimes are no answers why things happen but it is in God's plan and their life made a lasting impression on you! Your faith is strong and ou will be reunited one day.
That's a bittersweet picture, Tammy! Such sweet little faces. Hard to understand why the boys were taken before their time. Faith is an important commodity in dealing with such events.

Dorie- I'm not one who believes God has a plan to take anyone too soon, I think things just happen because of free will and we are left to deal with it. I certainly believe God knows what's going to happen, but I don't think when a young person dies it is part of any grand plan.
Myrl- devastatingly hard to understand and accept. But we put one foot in front of the next and breathe in and breathe out.
Tammy-What a wonderful photo. It must have been so hard to lose both of these fellows so young. The WHY of life could drive you crazy. Glad your faith sustains you thru the harshness of life
Christopher passed away in 1996 at just 17 and Ryan last year at age 34. Life can be harsh, but goodness is around the corner.

It has some wonderful memories in this photo Robert. I love those two boys with all my heart. They both loved Abigail to the moon and back too.
