Westlake Village is a beautifully planned community located in southern California at the Los Angeles and Ventura county line. The Los Angeles County side is the incorporated city of Westlake Village, with a population of about 8,300. The Ventura County side is also considered the "area" of Westlake Village, however is actually in the incorporated city of Thousand Oaks. Westlake Village is known for its affluence and secluded character, and is considered one of the wealthiest communities in the Greater Los Angeles Area. 
The city and area is part of the Conejo Valley, which included the cities of Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park, all situated along the 101 Ventura Freeway.

You can be in Los Angeles for a game or a concert in about an hour. You can get to Disneyland in about an hour & a half (leave early! lol!). You can pick your own produce at the farms in Moorpark, ride horses in Simi Valley, visit Early California Missions in Ventura and Santa Barbara. Take a boat ride to the Channel Islands.
