How To Give Your Staging Inventory a Face Lift - Part 2

Welcome Part Deux of a small series of posts on how to transform Staging inventory you might be bored with.  Part 1 dealt with simple slipcovers for dining chairs:

Bored?  How To Give Your Staging Inventory a Face Lift - Part 1

In this post, I'm addressing perfectly good white slip covered club chairs.  This solution would also work for solid-colored sofas as well.

Here is our basic chair:

Of course, a pillow can always work:

I really wanted something more to pull in the beige accents from the Moroccan-style rug, so I added this:

It's a table runner!

Here's the looked pulled together:

It looks really cute from the back, because the pink detail is repeated at the other end of the runner.  Great for this open floor plan!

Try this to give your chairs a face lift!

The accents were nice and does bring your focus to the chairs. While adding a splash of color also gave a little life to the room overall from different points of view.

Julia- what a cute idea!  Anyone can take your excellent ideas and put them to use in their own homes.

Thanks, Ted!  The details do help "fill" the room.

You're absolutely right, Kathy!

Hi Julia, we have never used runners on a chair before, definitely will from now on to freshen up staging looks especially when we use the home owners chairs. Really super example that you have shown today.

This is really different...love the use of the table runner, it's not something I've ever done before!

Hi Michelle - it can be very low-cost as well.  The runners I used were $10.00 each.

Thanks, Sharon - I'm not usually a "runner" person, but thought this could work!

I like it! Nice job Julia :) The table runner is a great way to add a little color and style to chairs.
