No Real Estate Talk Today...Well Maybe..??

  It is not exactly real estate talk but maybe some fun ideas about what you are doing with your land or small parcel....It is spring time and folks are all out in their yards raking, pulling weeds, planting new flowers and you should see the people at the local garden centers.....Not to mention the Robins that are sucking the worms out of the ground....it's really neat to watch those birds as they hop over the ground and instinctively know where a burried worm is....

  So what are you doing lately...?? what I am doing...?? Well....I have turned a decent size patch of ground almost a month ago in hopes of planting my bounty. Just last week I turned it again since it is a new patch of that red stuff and I turned in some compost with a jolt of burnt lime... I have a neighbor that has put out a small row of onions, cabbage and cauliflower but he seems to be waiting on the rest.  From what I hear, it is still best to wait another week or possibly two before stocking the garden.  A hard frosty spring morning can put a huge damper on expected yield.

  Another thing that I have discoverd is the sport of Paintball. O.K.....maybe it is just play time and not really a sport.  However, when running through 14 acres with my 2 sons, decked in camo and either in pursuit of or being pursued, you feel as if you are defending the country.  I will have to be honest....those paintballs HURT !!!!  You should see the bruises that we have. We arent covered in them and since this was the first time that we played, you quickly find out that you need a little extra layer of clothing to aid in the padding. Let's face it, just dont get hit !!! But BOY !!!! that sure was fun.....

  So what are you doing on your property...Turkey season is coming up..is anyone planning on doing some turkey hunting...I have some deer running through my little piece of property but I have not seen any turkeys. I wish I did though....
