Frank - There might be one time that a home inspection is not strongly recommended for a buyer.  That would be when the structure is going to be cleared from the property and a new one put up.  Otherwise every time, even on new homes.  Thanks for the blog.

I believe in any case that you should have an inspection. The first one if it is a investor who is going to do it hands on. Most of the time they have seen what they will need to check first to indicate it would be a good deal. To demolish or renovate would be the next step. Since its their money they are initially spending then spend it wisely. Its just my thought. Ted
