No Fear Bunny

By
Real Estate Agent with Cummings & Co. Realtors

I have come across this bunny a number of times over the past few weeks.

He (or she) seems to have no fear of anyone. I took this photo with my phone, and I did not zoom in or crop the picture!

As you can see, s/he is relaxing as s/he eats some straw -- and I am a mere foot away!

S/he is a small bunny -- at first I thought s/he was a baby, but I haven't seen a mama nearby, and there is another small one in the same area who isn't afraid either!

Yes, the bunnies may eat flowers & crops, but since I am not good at keeping those alive myself, I don't worry over them.

Instead, I enjoy these sweet moments, where I say, "hi" and enjoy the quiet.

Marney, it's adorable. I agree with Than, (#1) that the Bunnies just get used to us then don't care. I have a Squirrel in my yard that's like that. It has no fear and has come up within a foot away from me.

What an adorable little guy!  I have a similar looking one in my neighborhood.  One of my cats, Reuben, loves to play tag with it.

Hi Tamra! Our squirrels still run from us -- I figured because of the dogs, but this one doesn't even seem to be scared of them!

Hi Marney,

I have a family of bunnies living in my front yard and they are so cute. I come home and they come out like they are greeting me. I usually just go inside so as not to scare them. I love the little cottontail.

Hi Kristin! I worry about the bunnies who venture into my back yard because of my dogs. The ones in the front, though, are cute! Good thing I don't have a lot of plants that I am concerned with, I hear they like to eat them!

Marney-Bunnies are cute but they love to eat my squash buds so while cute I would rather like them from a distance. I have seen many bunnies around the area and they do get accustomed to us humans. Great photo.

How fun!

I know we have bunnies around here, because I've seen them go across the road 5 or 6 miles from home - but have never seen any near our house. Perhaps our dogs are too noisy and scare them away.

I wonder if yours was a tame bunny that someone decided to turn loose. That would explain not being afraid.
