Help with Partitioned Pictures?

Can you believe I found this at Target?  A Lockheed Electra.  At Target.

       At first glance, I knew it belonged on our wall at the office.  At second glance, I did not know how to hang it.  The picture I have taken shows what I ultimately decided worked best, with each section of the picture in its right place, as if it was one continual image.

       Looking back at the box in came in, I see a preview of the three sections together; the two side pieces are swapped.  Am I losing my mind, are theseparitioned pictures meant to be out of order, or did the person setting up the example image misunderstand the concept of wings?

       Help me out here interior designers, stagers, and real estate agents, in what order are these pictures supposed to be hung?
