FIRST FRIDAY STREET FAIR IN GOLDEN, COLORADO
First Friday Street Fair in Golden, Colorado happens from June through October along Washington Ave. Golden hosts this First Friday event year round, but during the summer months, they add the Street Fair.
The First Friday Street Fair this month would normally have been on July 4th, but because of the holiday, it's NOT been canceled, it's been MOVED to SECOND FRIDAY, July 11th! You haven't missed it! There will be music, entertainment, free horse drawn carriage rides, specialty foods from Golden's restaurants, and fun for kids of all ages.
It's Western Street Fair this Friday. Wear your best western duds and watch for square dancing, a beer garden and more. Festivities begin at 5:00 and go until 8:00 or so.
