This is my very first Blog. I have heard for years about blogging and it never made sense to me. WHY would someone want to write on the internet about what they do or feel? Well, I am going to do this because I've been told it may increase my listings and sales. SO, as a motivated Realtor, I'll try it!

Great Springfield MA is a great area to live in or near and raise a family. The location is fabulous. 21/2 hours to NYC, 11/2 to Boston (GO SOX!) skiing to Mt Snow or Killingtonan 1-2hours drive, the Berkshires have Jacobs Pillow, and Tanglewood -also an hour away. Again a great location for culture and the many colleges that are here are exceptional. The schools are good, the taxes, in comparison to other parts of the east coast are affordable. This is a great place to buy a house, real estate is affordable. Check it out.

You're not alone! I'm very much a late adopter of new technologies. For the longest time I wondered what a blog was. Let your guard down, roll with it, have fun and see what happens! Welcome to Active Rain!

Welcome to AR - you're off to a great start blogging about your community. I often read about consumers finding their agents on AR after reading their blogs, and consumers love to read about their future communities. If you ever have a question, get in touch or just ask it in a blog post - it'll get answered. See you around AR.

Thanks you all for your good wishes and messages. Like Real Estate, I will become familiar with the process by doing it over and over again.
