My June residential real estate statistics graph for the entire Moncton area reveals:
- In 2014 sales reported were below average for June
- New listings entered in the system were above average
- Active residential listings at the end of June were at a record level
My graph leads one to this conclusion: The residential real estate market in Southeast New Brunswick continues to favour buyers over sellers.
Sellers must adjust their expectations. Buyers should be cautious and avoid double agency situations.
