Meadow Pond in St. Michael is just slightly west of County Road 19 or LaBeaux Avenue off of County Road 241 which makes an easy commute to St. Cloud (35 miles northwest) or Minneapolis (25 miles southeast).
This development of 128 homes has a Homeowners Association which keeps the grounds mowed and sprinkled and provides sanitation services and there is a community pool, tot lot, gazebo and basketball court. Down the street is Gutzwiller Park, a new city park that contains a play area, three soccer fields, volleyball, and eventually a baseball diamond and two hockey rinks. There is also a 1.3 mile walking trail that runs through the community.
The community is on 80 acres of land, and there are homes with three to five bedrooms and two to four baths predominantly. Most are two stories, modified splits or bi-levels. Some have walkout basements make the lower level much more livable.
Meadow Pond has the advantage of having the nearly new St. Michael High School close by, but all of St. Michael-Albertville’s award-winning schools are very easy to get to.
In addition to the great schools, St. Michael-Albertville also has amenities and attractions such as many parks, bike trails and the Pelican Lake Waterfowl Refuge, Beebe Lake County Park, Crow-Hassan Park Preserve,Fox Hollow Golf Course, and the St. Michael City Center Complex which houses the St. Michael City Hall, the St. Michael Senior Center and the Great River Regional Library.
