We have a good number of friends.
We like to get together often.
Then we started buying gifts and recieving all kinds of junk none of us needed.
So, we made an agreement that there would be no presents unless the birthday ended in 5 or 0.
It takes a lot of pressure off of getting together and hopefully eliminates any hard feeling.
Great idea. Parties and gift giving past the age of 30 are a waste. (unless the person is in need.)
I love holidays when no gifts are required., Bill. Like Easter, the Fourth and Thanksgiving. Your group made a wise move.
Great idea. Although we never did get together on a regular basis with friends for birthdays
I think I need to think about doing this also. This really is a great idea.
Bill, I solved the problem totally...I quit having birthdays as most of my friends have done!
