Stonehenge Home for Sale Has Sold

When I first met my clients, it was to list their North Chesterfield home for sale. During our conversation, they revealed their motivation to move which was so they could purchase a new property with an in-law suite. The in-law suite needed to have a completely separate living area, meaning its own entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. I knew I would have my work cut out for me as this has become a popular request with many adult children now becoming the caregivers for their parents. However, I believed we would find it!

We searched all over the Richmond Metro region, even as far out as New Kent. One promising property we found was located in Hanover County. It was almost perfect, but the drive was a little far from their ideal location. Once my buyers came to the realization they wanted to stay "close to home" we narrowed down Chesterfield County as the target.

As soon as my clients entered this lovely house for sale in Stonehenge, they were HOME! This property features 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a two car garage, formal living room, formal dining room, a renovated kitchen, a cozy and warm family room, sunroom, AND a finished basement which checked off all the boxes on their wish list! The yard was beautiful, private, and had plenty of space for my buyers pets.

Now, no home is perfect and compromises are always needed. The one thing this Stonehenge in Chesterfield Home for Sale did not have was a first floor master bedroom. We had come across one home that DID have this desired feature, however the basement wasn't nearly as nice as the home they purchased and the asking price was much higher. If my clients decide they need that down the road, we already discussed the possibility of converting the formal living room or the Florida room into a first floor master. A little creative thinking ahead of time can solve future challenges.
