The Farmers Open Air Market is in full swing at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center, providing residents an opportunity to purchase locally grown food.
Hours of operation for the market are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday until November. The market has over 20 vendors. There is one with prepared hot foods, two with baked goods, one with organic meat, two selling eggs, one has ice cream, one has cheese, six sell plants/flowers and ten have produce. Each farm vendor grows and produces what they sell.
Thanks to the local farmers, when the fields are full, the market is full. There is more freshly picked produce than a person could imagine.
You can always find flowers at the market. Annuals, hanging baskets, potted flowers, perennials, native plants, shade plants, herbs, foliage plants, and fresh cut flowers, are offered throughout the season.
See you on Tuesdays and Fridays!
